It had been a while since I had done any iPad painting so I started off by exploring some of the new painting apps that were available. I eventually settled on using ProCreate for the paintings because it allowed me to build a series of custom paintbrushes similar to those I use in Adobe Photoshop on my Mac. I established a color palette for each painting and decided to explore a loose expressive style for the set.
The finished portraits were presented to each guest at Macworld / iWorld on an iPad and were used for social marketing during the event.
